The Pamplin College of Business is nationally recognized for its disciplinary business programs and is an integral part of Virginia Tech, a premier institution classified as an R1 research university by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

The Executive Ph.D. program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Pamplin College of Business is one of only 5% of business schools worldwide accredited by this prestigious, international accreditation body. 

Virginia Tech is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award doctorate, masters, baccalaureate and associate degrees.
